With the graduation season coming to a close, President Clinton’s speaking engagements appear to be in a rare state of recess. In actuality, Clinton is simply experiencing the lull before the storm. It is a much-needed break in between all his political stumping and fundraising for Dems, not to mention heading up CGI America on June 7.
NOTABLES
If you are going to be in and around Little Rock, Arkansas this summer, July is an excellent time to visit Clinton’s Presidential Library. On Independence Day, all admissions are free.
As previously posted, the library is now the temporary home to some of the St. Louis Cardinals’ most treasured possessions, including the World Series Trophy. From July 4 – 22, you can have your picture taken with the trophy for free. Plus, the library is just one part of an impressively designed Clinton Presidential Center and Park that includes a museum, Clinton Foundation office and the Clinton School of Public Service.
There is still time left to have your donation to the Clinton Foundation doubled. Bill Clinton announced that he will match all donations dollar for dollar through June 25. Read the article and click on the “find out more” link at the end for details.
