Bill Clinton Calendar

Plus news and notables

It is once again time to check in with the former President’s calendar, scheduled appearances and notable news. It appears President Clinton has taken some well-deserved time off, so come back over the next few days, as this post will likely be updated with future booking announcements.

NEWS AND NOTES

A big shout out goes to BC’s better half, Hillary Clinton, who as Secretary of State broke a travel record this month for the most countries visited by any U.S. Secretary of State to date. Latvia was Hillary Clinton’s 100th nation visited, and gained her the record by besting former Secretary Albright’s record of 96 nations. We know Bill Clinton is proud of the Secretary, so congrats to both!

In a related note, the Clinton Presidential Center will showcase a new exhibit on the lives of Dorothy Howell Rodham, mother to Hillary, and Virginia Clinton Kelley, mother to Bill. The exhibit will run through Nov. 25th, 2012 and promises a revealing look at the struggles, triumphs and common compassion of these two women through personal letters, photos, video interviews and other items.
